Catching Up

Sorry to my loyal readers for not keeping up on the postings. I will just include a quick and dirty about how things have been going......really all we do is school and work, and school and work, and school and work, oh and laundry :) Philip has really improved at school his grades and attention in class are improving. Marie as usual has been getting straight A+. For those that don't know, I started my MBA program through Lewis University in January. I have completed one class and 2 seminars. Next class starts in June......only 16 classes to go :) Even though that sounds like a lot, they really do go fast! I am really enjoying it as well. Philip starts t-ball next week. We are all eagerly awaiting spring so that we can get outside, and get rid of the coats! SO tired of coats, hats, and gloves. Looking forward to flip flops and shorts! Stay tuned.......I will try to keep up on my blogging, hopefully there will be a lot of fun stuff to report soon. Oh and stay tuned for interesting t-ball shots and stories! Thanks for reading:)

St. Patrick's Day

Ok I remembered green on St. Patrick's Day..........Here are some pictures from St. Patrick's Day.  Notice even the socks are St. Patty's day themed :)

Snow in March

Although I really don't like snow, I love pictures of the kids playing in the snow.  On this day, they got to get out and really play.....the snow was perfect!

Randoms

Here are a few random pictures from March.........see they really do love each other :)

Making Cupcakes

Here the little angels are making cupcakes.  I think there was more batter and icing on them than on the cupcakes.

Valentine's Day

Every time there is a "holiday", it seems like I always forget to dress the kids for the occasion.  This year I have made a pledge to myself to always be on top of it! Last year I think they wore  green on Valentine's Day and red on St. Patricks day :). Here they are in their Valentine's Day attire.
So, my next blog covers our trip to Michigan Avenue.  I decided to take Marie and Philip downtown on the train.  We had never done this before.  Marie wanted an American Girl doll, but refused to let me order it online, so our only other option.................hop on the train.  We had a great time and Philip also discovered the Lego Store......his favorite!!!!!!!!!
When I started blogging, I began going back to old photos.  I came across some pictures that were absolutely priceless, I realized how precious candids are.  Here are some recent candids I thought I would post.  For those of you that are wondering.....yes that is underwear on Philip's head!
Now that the crib is out.......here are the infamous bunk beds.
Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile....thankfully things have been a bit quiet since the holidays.  Good news though, things are picking up as spring approaches.  This blog is a bit of a sad one for me.  It is the about the boys getting new bunk beds.  You may ask what is so sad about that right? Well the thing is when the bunk beds came, it was time to take the crib down.  My last baby is officially out of his crib !!!! :(  The crib has a bit of a history.  Not only is it the crib we have used since Marie was born, it is one of the only original pieces of furniture we still have.  The crib was also a gift from my mom when we found out I was pregnant with Marie.  So in many ways crib taking down day was pretty sad for me.  Here are some pictures of all three babies in the crib and a picture of the actual taking down of the crib.

So they finally got the big boy bike together and off he went!  Hopefully spring is around the corner.
We celebrated Anthony's Birthday this weekend.  His actually birthday is January 16th.  I know what you all will be thinking...........what's with that sweater?!  This kid absolutely refuses to take this sweater off.  I do manage to get it off when he is asleep and wash it, but if he is awake it is on him.   We have tried to get him to take it off, but he throws an absolute fit.  Anyway.......Marina and Doug, Peter and Liz, came over for cake.   We sang Happy Birthday and Anthony opened his presents.  Happy Birthday my little Anthony.....the big 3.
Anthony got a Birthday bear, a big boy bike, and a bat cave toy.  Philip blew out the candles first so we re-lit them and Anthony got a chance to blow them out.  It took Aunt Liz and Uncle Doug a while to put Anthony's big boy bike together. HA! too funny!
